About Us

SWHLI Knowledge Exchange was commissioned in order to link and add value to SWHLI projects through the provision of knowledge support. The Knowledge Exchange acts as a central hub for data produced by the various SWHLI projects providing project reporting and information resources for farmers and those working with farmers.

The Partnership

The delivery of the knowledge exchange project represents a partnership between the  Duchy College Rural Business School and the University of Bristol Veterinary School.

Expertise at Bristol Veterinary School provides epidemiological and veterinary support for the project, including data collation, analysis and interpretation. The Duchy College Rural Business School at Duchy College takes responsibility for project management and communication and dissemination activities.

Providing animal health and welfare knowledge support to farm businesses and organisations participating in the RDPE-funded South West Healthy Livestock Initiative

This Project is part financed by the European Agricultural Fund for European Development 2007 - 2013: Europe investing in rural areas. The project is being delivered through the South West Regional Development Agency with Defra as the Managing Authority
